Design - Capsule

The Singapore Flyer capsule has been designed with the comfort of passengers in mind. Each capsule will be fitted with the latest cooling system and will be supported by a back-up air conditioning system together with a solid roof. At 165 meters high, the cool comfort of passengers is further ensured by fitting the capsules with UV protection to shield them from the blazing Singapore sun. With precision wind engineering, passengers can sit back, relax, and enjoy the spectacular skyline without worry of instability, lateral movements, or vibrations.

The Singapore Flyer is also designed to commemorate festive occasions, national celebrations, and international events with you. The Giant Observation Wheel can be dressed up and decorated according to special themes like Christmas, Valentine's Day, or the World Cup.

Ergonomically designed, each capsule will measure 4 metres by 7 metres in dimension and will have an interior space of 30 square metres, comfortably accommodating a maximum of 35 passengers. The elderly and people with disabilities will also find the Singapore Flyer easily accessible with the installation of a patented synchronized double door entry/exit systems.
